Vituallin hThat was very good! And, yes, I have heard EVERY LAST ONE OF THOSE THINGS! But, I think the craziest thing I have ever had a client ask me was to meet her at midnight at the empty parking lot of a grocery store on her way home from her hair appointment to give her her postcard order! And, yes, I actually did it! Of course, the whole time I was thinking of what to say to any cop car that happened by as to why we were standing in a deserted parking lot at midnight, while she rummaged in the trunk for her purse (who carries their purse in teir trunk!?!). I didn't have long to wait. Good thing, I was known in the community, so the officer recognized me and waited until the entire thing was over before pulling off. Never again! |

... The piece about the client and the free support hit home. I have an old client who hasn't actually employed me in ages but will e mail for advice. I give though and he has actually repaid me with a couple of good referrals to his friends. |
