Unusual Winter Weather in the North West |
|
Once again, we've been hit with a blast of snow which is quite unusual for the North West. In the last ten years, I can count on one hand the number of times we've seen snow and it's only ever been a wee bit - but this year, our weather has been quite volatile. Of course, us Washingtonians barely know how to drive in the rain (if you can believe that, with 99% of our days being rainy) not to mention how bad we can be trying to navigate in the snow.
Case in point - check out this video! Our kids missed school most of last week and were out again today after about four inches of snow came down overnight. This makes my work a bit harder as they're running in and out, making lots of noise and clamoring for my attention every five minutes. LOL A neighbor decided to construct some cute snowmen today and my kids joined in. Of course, my six year old son Falken had a unique way of keeping warm while playing in the snow: (cute caption added by Dad)
